Honolulu, as no fault of it’s own, is forced to import it’s fossil fuels to create power.  This makes power both expensive and dirty.  They are working hard to change that, and we want to help.

Rebates:

Federal: 30% Federal tax credit with no cap.

State: There is a 35% Hawaii state tax incentive (credit towards your state taxes) with a $5,000 cap. The incentive will roll over to the next year if it is not used the year it was claimed. More info here.
