I don’t have much to say other than this is neat. I stumbled across this on google maps while looking at the roof of a 1BOG member in Denver. When google took the satellite image, the sun was reflecting off the solar panels just right so that it created an star like, magical image – reminded me of Tinkerbell. For those of you that have solar, this is what your roof might look like on google maps or from outer space.

That’s not a solar panel (if it really is, it’s the smallest roof panel ever) it’s a window or a vent. Also, shouldn’t solar panels absorb energy from the sun as opposed to reflecting it? Whoa, bob I think you’re right. The blue hue looks like an array, but it’s not, it’s just some optical anomaly created by the reflection. And you’re right, panels absorb sun. They can still be quite reflective at the right incident angle though. Keep your eye on the one-panel powered street signs you see here and there, one will eventually blind you.
It’s probably a skylight. We still think it’s cool looking :-)

I think the best thing about the solar panels is that they are extremely neat unlike other energy sources. This is why it is more comfortable for the customers.
