lbog? If you landed on this page, you typed in www.lbog.org into your browser instead of www.1bog.org. This is TOTALLY FINE, I just have a question for you. See, lots of people call it “lbog” instead of “1bog….”

so I whipped up this page to try to get some feedback why everyone’s brain is so compelled to want it to be lbog instead of 1bog.

I don’t think it’s probably anything big we’re missing, it’s just that our 1 in 1BOG sometimes looks like an l, making it look like lbog

“It’s because we’re used to reading and pronouncing words, and words do not usually combine letters and numbers. Consider the movie “Se7en.” People don’t read that as “seh – seven – en.” If you don’t want people to see the 1 as a letter, put some kind of separation between it and the pronounceable word, i.e., “1-BOG” or “1 BOG.” Or you could spell it all out and be “OneBog,” but that sounds like commie cranberries.”
