Our free and easy estimator takes only 2 minutes to complete and will tell you how much solar might cost for different system sizes and configurations. We're also able to show you how long it will take for your system to pay itself off for you.

Locate your roof by dragging the map. You can zoom in for a closer look.
To start over with a new address, click on the
icon at the top right of the page.

Now decide on which section of your roof you want to install solar panels on. South and South West facing sections get the most sun exposure, but you can install solar panels on any part of your roof besides northern facing sections.
Once you're done outlining, double click your left mouse button or click on the CLOSE OUTLINE button.

Choose the direction your selected roof section faces by clicking on one of the directions on the compass above.
TIP: If your roof is flat, just select "Flat" as the direction on the compass.
When you're done, confirm your selection and move on!
Using our 1BOG Solar Estimate tool, you can create a customized estimate of how much solar will cost for your home. Creating an estimate doesn't commit you to anything and it's completely free!

Internet Explorer version 6 was released 9 years ago and since then the internet has made leaps and bounds. Unfortunately, some of those leaps and bounds are incorporated in our solar estimator. We recommend upgrading to a newer browser. Upgrading only takes a couple of minutes and in addition to giving you access to our online estimator it will improve your experiences elsewhere on the web!
